The planet Galaxia is suffering from a condition called junk yard orbit. It is the condition where there are so many remains of satellite, rocket and other things orbiting the planet, they effectively make it nearly impossible for rockets to exit the atmosphere safely because they will collide with the debris and get destroyed, creating even more debris and making it even more difficult for the next rocket to get through.
A temporary solution has thus been proposed: a new rocket will be design, which will have a much smaller size and much better maneuverability, so that it maybe able to move through the gaps in the debris field.
This solution however, is not a cheap one. Creating a rocket with high maneuverability will cost unprecedented amount of money and thus, such a solution cannot be implemented easily if there is not enough confidence level that it will work.
To test the idea, a very simple simulation has been set up on the computer; the simulated rocket will fly through the simulated debris and the length of time that it can survive will be used to calculate the possibility that the actual rocket will survive. You have been chosen to control the simulated rocket, so now you have to use the Left, Up, Down and Right arrows to steer the simulated rocket clear of the simulated debris for as long as you can. |
