Purpose of the game: Rules & Roles of every Chess piece Pawn - The pawn contains 8 numbers and pieces The pawn can only move ahead and not backwards and it can make 2 jumps till it reaches the center and then after that it can make only one move at a time. Once it reaches the other side of the board the pawn can be used to get back any one lost piece other than any other pawn. Castle - The castle can move front and back and can go forward and backward but it cannot move diagonally. It is used to do castling in the event of the king being check mated. This is to save the king from being check mated Knight - The knight also called as the horse can jump over other units and and move forward, backward, left, right in any direction but only it should be in the shape of an L. Bishop - The bishop can also move like the knight front back left right but every step that it makes it will travel in the form of a diagonal movement Queen - The only unit in the whole army that can move front, back left, right... and any number of steps in every chance. King - The king also like the queen can move front, back, left, right but it can only take one step at a time. Which ever team is successful in removing the king first is the winner.
