Pinball is a classic arcade game, where people spend hours and hours playing with a small steel ball inside a transparent playing table, trying to knock things in the table and earning higher score. There is usually a spring to launch the ball and two flippers to guard the ball from falling down to an opening at the lower side of the table.
This game is the digital version of pinball, using soccer images as the theme of the table. To play the game, first you have to press and hold the space bar to pull back the spring; the more it is pull back, the stronger the shot will be when you release it. When you feel that the spring has been pulled back enough, release the space bar to release the spring and the ball will be shot.
During the play, you have to try your best to keep the ball in the playing area and make it hits as many objects as possible because each hit earns you points. Since the table is actually slightly tilted downward toward the bottom of the screen, the ball will tend to roll down towards the opening which is located at the bottom of the screen. You can stop the ball from falling down by activating the left flipper using Shift, or the right flipper using Ctrl; this will send the ball back upwards. If the ball still get through the opening, you lose 1 ball and in total you have 5 balls so if you lose all of them, the game is over. |
