Sudoku is a well known math puzzle from Japan. The objective of the game sounds very simple: Fill in all of the 0 with numbers so that each row, column and 3 x 3 squares area are filled with number 1 to 9. In practice, this is a very difficult puzzle requiring very strong logic to solve it because once the initial pattern has been set, the puzzle will only have one solution pattern to it.
To fill in the slots with numbers, first you have to choose the number you want to fill it with by clicking on the numbers dial on the bottom right, then click on any of the slots having the gray colored numbers. If you feel that you have made a mistake, you can click on the undo or redo buttons, or you can simply override the content of the slot by choosing a new number and clicking on the slot again. The black colored numbers are part of the initial pattern and cannot be changed.
At the middle bottom, you will see a timer which tells you how long you have been trying to solve the puzzle and on the left there is a statistical box which tells you how many time a particular number has been used in the puzzle.
The trick of solving sudoku is always the same: recognize the pattern and it will be easy to complete. |
