Tank ferocity is a shoot - run - shoot - hide game. You control a tank with a simple and obvious mission: destroy all enemy tanks. The number of enemy tanks that you still have to destroy in order to clear a level is displayed at the bottom part of the game screen.
You control the tank by using the left, up, down, right arrows on the keyboard to move the tank, and by pressing the space bar to make your tank shoot. The range of the shot is 2 square and every single shot is deadly; the same also applies to your enemies' shot, which means your tank only need to get hit once and the game is over.
The battle area also have some blocks that cannot be damaged by tank shots; this way your tank can hide from enemy shot if necessary. Standing behind a block is also a good way to do a surprise attack on the enemy.
When you first play, you will only be facing 1 enemy tank, but as soon as you destroy that one, two more will appear and when you destroy the second tank, 4 tanks will appear simultaneously on screen and the battle become difficult. At subsequent levels, there will always be several tanks appearing all at once on the battle screen. If you lose, you can resume the game and your score will be set to the score in the last level. You can submit your score if you want to compare it in the scoreboard. |
