Tringo is a puzzle game that tests your ability to think fast, act fast and keep your eye on the inventory of the pieces at the same time.
When you start, you will see a grid with 5 x 5 size on the bottom left. to the right you will see the timer, the current piece and the next piece.
The object is to place each current piece on the grid so that along with existing pieces they will form a block of minimum 2 x 2 size. If you managed to do that, that block will disappear and you will get some points. The larger the block that you form, the bigger points that you get and if the block contains gold square, you will receive double points.
If you feel that you cannot place a particular piece due to no suitable empty grid, you can click on the skip button. If you run out of time, you will skip the current piece also. Skipping pieces comes with 2 penalties; one penalty is that you are deducted 3 points for every skip you made and the other is that with the very first skip, you lose the no skip bonus that you can receive at the end of the game if you have skipped no pieced at all.
On the top left, you can see the list of objects that can appear on the grid. Each time an object appear, the corresponding item in the list will turn to red so you have some ideas on which pieces are still there.
The game will be over when all pieces have appeared. your score will be a total of round score, no skip bonus, empty square bonus and grid clear bonus. |
