Xonixand

Xonixand is an area clearing game. You start with a large area with objects floating in the middle, then you clear area by cutting them using the scissor. To control the movement of the scissor, you use the Left, Up, Down and Right arrows on the keyboard. Each time you cut the area, you will always ended up cutting it into two separated areas. If one of the area is empty, that area will be cleared up but if none is empty, both will remain. The objective is to clear up large enough areas on each level, so you have to keep cutting until you managed to do so. The problem is, the scissor cannot touch any of the moving objects or else you will lose a life. One of the most common strategy in handling areas with multiple objects is 'divide and conquer', which basically means you first divide the objects by cutting in between and so they will be moving on separate areas and thus their movements can be monitored a little easier. Another common strategy is 'build a trap' which basically means you cut a thin long piece, leaving some sort of a trap area and then wait for all the objects to be trapped before you complete the cut and clear the larger area. There are some interesting additional objects in the game which you will encounter at later stages.
